Visit Bath will produce and curate a wide range of digital content which will be published on the Bath at Christmas section of the website. This will also be sign-posted across the website, including the homepage. As well as excellent search engine optimisation for organic traffic, this content will be widely promoted to our target audiences via digital advertising.
We will be using social media, YouTube and Google advertising platforms.
We will also be seeding inspirational copy with a call to action to the Bath at Christmas web pages via Digital PR and working with media and influencers. This will reach additional audiences, as will encouragement of local businesses to get involved with the campaign via shared creative and use of campaign hashtag.
Activity will start at the beginning of November and run until Christmas itself. The media event will take place in mid/late November when activations in the city are able to be visited and experienced – agreed coverage will be produced very quickly.
Target audiences: Women aged 24-65, M4/M5 corridors and from 30 minutes to 2.5-hour travel time. Targeted advertising will reduce in geographic spread as the campaign progresses, recognising the propensity of overnight trips for Christmas will reduce as Christmas gets closer.
