WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre are delighted to have won best Family Attraction in the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire Muddy Stilettos 2021 Awards.
In June Slimbridge were nominated for the Awards in the Family Attraction category, before making it to the finals and winning on 29 July.
The Muddy Stilettos Awards are all about celebrating and supporting the most unique, interesting, brilliant local businesses. The public response this year has been incredible, with over 750,000 people around the country voting across the Muddy Stilettos sites.
Slimbridge were up against popular Gloucestershire and Worcestershire family attractions including Cattle Country Farm Park, Cotswold Canoe Hire, Cob House Country Park and Aztec Adventure.
Slimbridge are excited to have won this award as 2021 is an important year for the visitor attraction as it marks their 75th anniversary and sees the completion of their Slimbridge 75 project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. They would like to thank everyone who voted for them in this award and visitor’s ongoing support.
