Organised by BID Clifton, a summer celebration involving 40 locally owned, cherished classic cars, taking place in Bristol on Sunday 25th July.
A vintage car collection will come together at The Quad, Clifton College, where ex-pupil and Top Gear presenter, Chris Harris will see the autocade off at 10.00am. The public will then be able to see the rally as it heads down Princess Victoria Street and up through The Mall, before driving in formation across the Suspension Bridge, giving spectators an iconic view of the cars. The colourful entourage will then head down to Clevedon Seafront, where it will briefly stop before returning to Clifton.
On the way back into the city, the cars will regroup at midday, at the near side of the Suspension Bridge, before taking part in a grand (and noisy!) parade around the central part of the Village. This will be a real treat for all car enthusiasts, with plenty of fantastic viewing points and opportunities to see these beautiful cars up close. The rally will then bid farewell and return to Clifton College for a private BBQ for the entrants.
A wonderful free event, that will allow residents local to Bristol and Clevedon, a unique opportunity to see an array of much-loved, vintage cars in all their glory. The collection includes Austin Healey’s, various Triumph TR models, E Type Jags, various MG models, Rolls Royce, Landrovers, Mini Coopers, a Lea Francis, Alvis, TVRs, to name but a few…
A true spectacle for all the family to enjoy.
Richard Davis, event organiser & chair of Clifton BID says, ‘After 18 months of being cooped up, it’s a fantastic time to bring Clifton’s classic cars out of their garages, polish them up and take them for a spin. There are some really spectacular automotive treasures tucked away in Bristol and this is a marvellous occasion to show them off. The response we have had has been amazing and we are proud to have a wonderful, capacity line up of cars that I know will be enjoyed and appreciated’.

Entrants: Any vehicles of a specification valid before 1st January 1970

Start Line (invite only): The Quad, Clifton College, 32 College Road, Bristol, BS8 3JH
Route: Clifton Village (via Princess Victoria Street and The Mall) to Clevedon Seafront and returning to Clifton Village for a grand parade, before returning to Clifton College.
Timings: Clifton Village departure 10.00am, Clevedon Seafront regroup 11am, return to Bristol and grand parade around Clifton Village 12.00pm
