Tourism businesses from across Bath, Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire have been named as Finalists in this year’s South West Tourism Excellence Awards.

Bristol Beacon delivers a save the date to the city this Valentines Day, announcing it will reopen after its five year transformation on Thursday 30 November 2023. 

The 10-day spectacular starts this week, bringing colour, light and play to the city. 

Progress update statement released this week with opening date now late 2025 to early 2026 with increased capacity.

The UK’s leading independent restaurant guide - SquareMeal - has announced the best restaurants that the UK has to offer.

A further seven incredible installations have been revealed for this year’s event, featuring internationally renowned artists and some of the South West’s leading talent. 

South West has been ranked strongest dining region in the UK after London/South East with over 10% of Top Scorer restaurants located in the region.

A number of local and national tourism figures have been recognised in HM The King's first New Years Honours List. 

The last two months have been busy for the Bureau team, who have attended trade events in Barcelona, Paris, and Brussels. 

Meet Bristol and Bath will be attending a number of trade events during 2023, representing the region and its members.

The 10-day light spectacular will bring fun and colour to the city in February 2023. 

Victorian sets were built at The Bottle Yard Studios and location filming took place in many of Bristol’s period streets and listed buildings.
