Homewood, Bath have been named as one of the top hotels in the UK by Condé Nast Traveller in the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

More than 240,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers from the UK and US submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot of the top places they enjoyed this year and can’t wait to return to next, from hotels and resorts, to cities and countries.

Ed Fitzpatrick, General Manager at Homewood said: "Being recognised as one of the best hotels in the UK by a title as prestigious as Conde Nast Traveller is an honour and an amazing achievement. We see this as a final seal of approval and something to be placed front and centre, alongside our many other awards we have won in the past 12 months. I must thank our fantastic team who look after the hotel on a day-to-day basis; these great people are the pillar of our successes and we could not have done this without them."

Homewood is an eclectic country house hotel with 31 rooms and a playful personality, set in 22 acres of gardens near Bath. This unique Georgian retreat combines the finest of comforts with artistic interiors and creative artworks in the heart of Somerset’s countryside. Purchased by hoteliers Ian and Christa Taylor of the Kaleidoscope Collection in 2018, an extensive development of the property has created one of the country’s most intriguing boutique hotels, which was the winner of Boutique Hotel of the Year at The Boutique Hotelier Awards in 2021 and received 4 red stars at the AA Awards in 2022.

The 2022 Readers' Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler's website at cntraveler.com/rca and celebrated in the November issue.
