Arlo & Jacob, makers of handcrafted British furniture, are gearing up to open a new showroom in Bath.

The small modern family business has its roots in the East Midlands, where they make their range of stylish sofas, chairs, footstools, and tables. They have showrooms across London, Bristol, Ely, Guildford, Harrogate, Marlow, Solihull, and Wilmslow, with a curated display at their creative HQ and workshop in Melbourne as well.

Now, Arlo & Jacob are looking to serve more of their many West Country customers with a physical showcase of all they have to offer, and have found their ideal Somerset home in Bath’s historic Broad Street, within the Milsom Place shopping area. They’re settling at number 3, a Grade II listed building with elements thought to date back to circa 1500. This fusion of British tradition and fresh-faced furniture designs are an excellent emblem of the brand’s ethos.

In the past year, the small business has almost doubled their bricks and mortar offering to better serve even more loyal customers. Here, shoppers encounter furniture to suit every style, made for modern living and built to endure. Styles range from more traditional to thoroughly contemporary, and each piece can be tailored to taste, with modular designs available for a truly adaptable offering. Customers are free to browse endless fabrics, from House staples to designer options at price points to suit every budget. They’re also encouraged to explore design details like hand-turned hardwood legs made by a talented Derbyshire craftsman.
