Acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Sickboy is set to make a return to Bristol with an extraordinary exhibition at a brand-new creative hub, his first gallery show in the city in 5 years.
This highly anticipated event will feature a multi-dimensional interactive installation and gallery show, showcasing original artworks alongside newly editioned prints.
The exhibition curated by Fluorescent Smogg, will feature a Private View on 5 June, at a brand new gallery space, The PIT in Totterdown. It promises an immersive experience that highlights Sickboy’s innovative approach to art. Known for pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms, Sickboy’s latest works are expected to captivate audiences with their unique blend of vibrant visuals and signature Comic Surrealism style.

Sickboy, whose work has garnered international acclaim, is thrilled to return to Bristol, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and dynamic arts community.
Sickboy explains; “This will be my first gallery show in my spiritual home of Bristol since the pandemic and it will be a colourful celebration of positivity with some exciting new pieces technology and interactivity to bring my words to life.”
This marks a significant milestone in Sickboy’s career as he continues to break new ground and inspire audiences with his artistic ingenuity. This show follows his recent announcement of his desire to explore a new format of painting, paying homage to the origins of his painting practice. With a shift in artistic approach Sickboy has transformed his perception of form, composition, and content, allowing him to delve deeper into his range of symbolism, signs, and semiotics.

The exhibition will mark the inaugural show at The PIT, a new gallery and events space in Totterdown based in the historic former YMCA and bank building at 101 Wells Road.
