Bristol Community Ferry Boats is thrilled to announce the generous gift of a beautiful wooden passenger ferry, named "Juno," from fellow community organisation RiverShack. Juno has been a cherished part of the RiverShack crew since 2016, helping provide access to the Tees, and connect the community with local nature and wildlife.

Roisin Tobin-Brooke, Co-Director of Bristol Community Ferry Boats, said: “This exciting addition to our fleet is a significant milestone in our journey as a community organisation.

Juno will enable us to expand our waterbus service and education programme and improve the quality of our passengers' experience. We are so grateful to RiverShack for their remarkable generosity and their belief in the importance of our services.”

The formal handover of the "Juno" took place on the 4th November, when she arrived at the Albion Dockyard to receive some physical alterations to ensure she can cruise under all the bridges in Bristol Harbour. Once these have been completed, and she has been repainted in the distinctive blue and yellow Bristol Ferry colours, she will be welcomed into the harbour and onto her first ferry service. This will be marked by a special event open to the public, allowing community members to tour the new vessel and witness her inauguration.
