Day One - Bath

Classic art is on display at the city’s first public art gallery, The Holburne Museum. Walk across the historic Pulteney Bridge and visit Victoria Art Gallery’s collection of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts. Both galleries have a stunning exhibition programme of international significance. After lunch the Museum East Asian Art will introduce you to more than 7,000 years of arts and cultures from this part of the world.

Take an early dinner before a show at Bath Theatre Royal or comedy, music and cabaret at Komedia.

Day Two - Bristol

After a quick train ride, or a more leisurely cycle, between the two cities a Street Art Tour awaits in Bristol. As the home city of Banksy, the world’s most famous urban artist, and the annual Upfest street art festival, there is no better place in Europe to enjoy this culture.

Lunch in a gallery café and then enjoy the classic art in the Royal West of England Academy or Bristol Museum and Art Gallery (there’s a Banksy here too) which conveniently close to each other, or Spike Island for the latest modern art.

Arnolfini also has exhibitions to discover or photography fans should visit the Paintworks at Arnos Vale where both Martin Parr Foundation and the Royal Photographic Society are located.
