About

Parade House Trowbridge is a Grade I listed Georgian townhouse in the historic heart of the County Town of Wiltshire.

Built in around 1720 for the wealthy cloth merchant Robert Houlton, it is one of the town's finest and most elegant buildings, the centrepiece of what Pevsner's Guide  to Wiltshire described as a "stretch of palaces" along Fore Street.

With beautiful meeting rooms, an original sweeping staircase and a grand ballroom, it is available to hire for weddings & bespoke celebrations, business meetings & corporate events, exhibitions, gallery shows, photo & location shoots.

Parade House also has its own cinema and bar. The luxury 24-seat cinema The Screening Room opened in the historic vaults of Parade House in 2023, showing the best in classic and independent cinema each week. The adjoining Ushers Bar is open on Film Nights for drinks and light meals, and other selected evenings for drinks and special events.

Trowbridge is a short distance by road or rail from Bath and Bradford-upon-Avon, and easily accessible from London via the M4 and M3. Parade House is situated in the historic centre of the town, just two minutes' walk from Trowbridge station, and there is ample paid parking close by.

Parade House Trowbridge has no lift, and there is limited wheelchair access to the ground floor only. Cannot accommodate pushchairs or dogs.
