Situated on the outskirts of Bristol, Old Down Country Park is set in the stunning countryside with 66 acres of open space, with views of the Severn Estuary. It’s an all year round, outdoor venue. From beautiful gardens and woodlands full of blooming flowers and grand trees, to adventure play areas featuring a zip wire, jumping pillow, mud kitchen and dedicated toddler area. Old Down Country Park is your go-to destination for year-round events including many seasonal ones like Easter, Christmas and the kid’s half term.

They are also home to many different animals great and small, including Goats, Alpacas, Highland Cows, Wallabies, Bunnies, Birds and lots more! They hold Animal Encounters every day in Pet’s Corner at 11am and 2pm, where you can pet and learn about their little animals.

Feeling peckish? Old Down have something to offer everyone, including their legendary Sunday Lunch served up in the Manor and delightful Afternoon Tea spreads that change every season. Swing by their on-site Farm Shop and café to try their delicious breakfast and lunch menu, they offer a range of options for the whole family to enjoy.

Old Down Country Park is a totally dog friendly venue as they believe in making memories with all members of the family, paws and all! Please keep your dog on a lead at all times due to free roaming live stock within the park. They do have a designated exercise area for the dogs that would like a run around off lead, it includes a mini agility course!

From April-September, Old Down Country Park offers an adventure filled UK staycation with their on-site bell tent accommodation. From solid wood pine beds and spring mattresses to an indoor stove and kettle, it offers a great hassle free, unplugged camping experience with life’s little luxuries.
