About

Featuring over 200 twinkling chalets entwining some of Bath’s most iconic monuments, a plethora of food and beverage stalls and a light display that will transport you to another word, it’s definitely one to add to the to-do list this Christmas. Book your stay now to avoid disappointment!

With stalls showcasing artisan jewellers, cheesemongers, homeware and more, it's the perfect place to find some Christmas gifts.

Coach groups

Coach operators MUST book drop-off and pick-up slots in advance. All coaches should drop off and pick up in Royal Avenue. Bookings open in August each year and full information is available here: https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/coach-parking-bath.

The fees and charges for 2024 coach bookings are as follows -

Monday/Tuesday: Cost per seat £1.20

Wednesday/Thursday/Friday: Cost per seat £1.50

Saturday/Sunday: Cost per seat £1.70

Please note: Charges apply to the number of seats on the coach not the number of seats occupied.

Royal Avenue is about a 5 minute walk, 650 metres, from Milsom Street; the start of your Christmas Market journey. The walk into town is downhill, so please bare in mind that there is a slight uphill gradient when walking back.

There are toilets available, both general and accessible, for those using the coach drop off point. The drop-off site, as well as the market, is fully wheelchair accessible. Please bare in mind that some lanes in Bath are cobbled.
