The Grapes

About

One of Bath's rarest and oldest buildings has been refurbished to bring it back to its historic splendour.

Now a freehouse, and recently awarded Best Bar in Bath 2020, The Grapes serves local, independent ales and ciders, plus a curated selection of beer and wine. The bar is a welcoming and quirky space, free from sports, gaming machines and televisions. On most nights you can find music sessions, bands or a DJ playing.

During the week the space serves as a yoga, pilates and life drawing studio as well as hosting regular lectures and a philosphical debating society. If you're lucky enough to go there when nothing is going on, the owners will be more than happy to take you up for a tour.

The pub is also home to five rooms packed with original features, Pococks Lodgings, if you fancy staying the night in the centre of town.
