About
Harbour House is an all day venue, for every occasion. A waterfront restaurant, bar and terrace set amongst a magnificent backdrop of original features in one of last remaining 19th century transit sheds in the Southwest.
It has some of the most iconic views the city has to offer and steeped in history. Rumoured to be Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s private boathouse and designed by himself with some of the features being prototypes to eventual builds at Paddington station and a little known artist who you might’ve heard of called Banksy had his first exhibition in this very building in the year 2000, wonder what happened to him?
Their menu champions the best seasonal produce and suppliers from the Southwest with emphasis on the finest seafood the region has to offer. The seafood linguine and kedgeree arancini are signatures but the hearty and diverse selection appeals to every part of the day. Whether it is a quick business lunch, family gathering or date night, there is something for all to feast on and leave thoroughly satisfied.
In the bar locality doesn’t just stop with the food. On tap are some of Bristol’s star breweries, their ‘Britz’ list which is Harbour Houses’ salute to the amazing English Sparkling wine industry sits perfectly with a seasonal bespoke cocktail menu, eclectic wine list and gins for your hearts content.
The terrace is a glorious setting all year round to unwind and watch the world go by. The weather may change but the views don’t!
A traditional Sunday Lunch is served all day every Sunday from 12pm with locally reared Hereford beef, Gloucester old spot pork to choose from. All served with crispy roasties, buckets of gravy and the best cauliflower cheese.
Look out for the occasional live music accompanying you whilst you dive into that roast.
With a large space to hold a numerous corporate events, weddings and parties, Harbour House is truly ‘A Venue For Every Occasion”.
