Who are Meet Bristol & Bath?  

Meet Bristol & Bath is the Convention Bureau for the two cities and the wider West of England region.  

We offer impartial support and advice to help you bring your next event or incentive group to our region. Our complimentary services include:

  • Conference bid document preparation.
  • Negotiating venue and accommodation rates.
  • Creation of bespoke accommodation booking website for delegates.
  • Arranging site inspections of our cities and venues.
  • Content support including destination images, film and visitor guides
  • Advice and support relating to external funding applications.
  • Connection to other experts within the city and region.
  • Helping to make the most of the delegate’s stay by suggesting social programmes and itineraries.
  • Advice and assistance in generating a positive impact and legacy.

We will be showcasing the region’s meeting, incentive, conference and event offering at the annual trade show, taking place at London’s ExCeL Centre on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 June. Partnering with the Bureau on the stand are six exciting venues – Aerospace Bristol, De Vere Tortworth Court, ECT Travel, The Gainsborough Bath Spa. The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa and We The Curious.

Aerospace Bristol

Aerospace Bristol offers the exclusive opportunity to stage your event under the last Concorde to fly or in one of the museum's purpose-built meeting rooms. 

The venue can host a variety of different events, from small meetings, large conferences, drinks receptions and evening banquets. Aerospace Bristol also offers smaller meeting rooms, which are named after key Concorde destinations plus there is also a 146-seat lecture theatre. With the Concorde hangar being over 2,000 sq metres, it is a perfect venue to fit over 500 guests in a banquet layout or over 1,000 guests for an exhibition.  

Need a large space with a unique selling point? The Concorde hangar can be hired exclusively for larger events and exhibitions. 

Plus, whilst on-site, all delegates will also have complimentary access to go on board Concorde and visit the rest of the museum, which tells the story of more than a century of Bristol's aerospace history.

De Vere Tortworth Court

Situated on the southernmost edge of the beautiful Cotswolds in 30 acres of rolling countryside, Tortworth Mansion House is a majestic country house hotel. Only two hours from London, an hour and a half from Birmingham, and just 40 minutes from Bristol city centre, the hotel is one of the South West's most idyllic MICE venues.   

With 201 bedrooms, 14 event spaces, restaurants, a spa and gym the hotel offers all the basic requirements you would need, however nothing at De Vere Tortworth Court is delivered as “standard." 97 of the 201 bedrooms are De Vere Reserve deluxe rooms and suites, with 55 located in the Mansion House. De Vere Reserve offers a sense of luxury on arrival perfect for those high-end luxury away days and board meetings.   

The Westminster Suite is the largest and most flexible event space, holding up to 350 delegates, it offers built-in AV, the ability to spilt into four additional sections, its own breakout and bar and it connects directly to the Atrium. The Orangery, dating from the 18th century with its glassed domed ceiling is the ideal private dining space for up to 120 guests with its own bar, private kitchen and patio. The Tipi at Tortworth caters for up to 80 guests and is perfect for summer get togethers or Christmas celebrations.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa

We The Curious

Where else can you take a trip around the solar system before dinner or sip some fizz over a giant game of chess?

Bristol's science centre, We The Curious, reopens this July with a fully refurbished venue hire suite, offering a unique corporate event space that embodies the city's sense of fun and passion for discovery and innovation.

The 3D Planetarium, over 200 interactive exhibits and the intriguing Project What If exhibition provide inspiration and a chance to play and relax. Upstairs, the versatile spaces are ideal for meetings, training and networking events, award ceremonies and dinners for up to 300 people. The light and airy Rosalind Franklin Room has integrated AV and break- out rooms, as well as access to the rooftop terraces, making it perfect for larger events and conferences. 

Centrally located on Bristol’s historic harbourside, the venue is well connected to the local public transport network. Sustainability is also top of the agenda here, with the educational charity working hard to achieve net zero by 2030.
