Located in a huge 1950s transit shed right on Bristol’s Harbourside, the M Shed museum explores over 2000 years of Bristol’s history. It offers an excellent contemporary event space on the top floor of the building with an amazing roof terrace overlooking the harbour. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in the 19th century, the SS Great Britain was the world’s first great ocean liner. After being in service from 1845 to 1886 she was abandoned until 1970 when she was towed back to the UK for restoration. She now stands tall in Bristol Harbour.
As well as being a top visitor attraction, Brunel’s SS Great Britain has fantastic event space both on and off the ship. With their Great Eastern Hall ideal for conferences for up to 250 guests and the original First Class Dining Saloon, restored to its former glory, it’s a wonderful setting for a conference with a difference.

Aldwick Estate is a refreshing alternative to traditional conference venues. Set amid the rolling Mendip Hills and surrounded by the charm of a working Somerset Vineyard, the two Barns are perfect for conferences and events of up to 220 attendees. There is even the opportunity to have a vineyard tour or tasting as part of your event.

We The Curious science centre has been inspiring minds since 2000 with exhibitions exploring the ‘inner workings of the world around us’. With the UK’s first 3D planetarium attached to the site, it’s the perfect space for your delegates to sit back and be immersed in the grandeur of the universe. Their main event space seats up to 460 guests and is located on the top floor of the centre, which allows for beautiful views of the city from the two private terraces.
