About
Being one of the largest venues in Bath with rare flexibility to choose your own caterer if you wish, the Guildhall is the perfect choice for a fun-filled Christmas party. The large Banqueting Room and adjoining Aix-en-Provence Room are a great combination for a dinner and party with ample space for a bar, dance floor and band or DJ. Our experienced team will take the stress out of planning and will be onsite to fully support you on the night. As the venue is centrally located in Bath and close to the train station, bus routes and car parks, there is no need to organise transport for your guests.
Accessibility
The Guildhall is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access to the ground floor of the Guildhall either via the door by the High Street entrance to the market between 9am and 5pm, or via the rear of the building within the car park and up the ramp to the main back door.
A lift is available for one wheelchair at a time to access the first floor.
There are accessible toilets on the ground and first floors.
Induction loops are fitted in the Banqueting Room, Council Chamber and Brunswick Room.
Sustainability
Sustainable transport/travel discounts available: GWR reduced conference fares for delegates
There are Sheffield bike stands in the car park available for anyone to use.
There are 2 water fountains, one on the ground floor and the other on the 1st floor, available to all. So reduces the need for single use plastic if people bring their own water containers.
Clients are free to choose a caterer of their choice who has relevant sustainability credentials.
The majority of lights are now LED and any that aren’t are being phased out.
